Sarah Carrington is an award-winning professional landscape artist based on the north coast of Northern Ireland. Originally from Edinburgh, she graduated with an MA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art in 1999 before establishing a successful full-time career as a painter. Since moving to Northern Ireland in 2009, the spectacular Causeway Coast has become a constant source of inspiration for her work.

 

Working with acrylic, ink and mixed media, often enhanced with gold leaf, Sarah creates atmospheric paintings that celebrate the changing light, weather and textures of the coastline. Her work reflects a deep connection to both the landscapes of Northern Ireland and her Scottish heritage, capturing the beauty and emotion of places that resonate with collectors throughout the UK.  Sarah's original paintings and limited edition prints are held in private and public collections and are exhibited in leading galleries across the UK.
